The arrival to Disko Bay and Illulissat is hard to describe after months at sea, welcoming but never beautiful Inuit settlements, and a need to rest after much was accomplished. And man did Greenland's most charming town not disappoint!!
It has a Unesco world heritage glacier which happens to produce the largest amount of icebergs in the world – this isn't a good thing but it is impressive!
It has a brewery and awesome beers.
It has live music and a great group of locals.
It has hikes and mountains.
It has hot showers.
It has meat, cheese and wifi.
